Domainer’s driving with the Torpedo run 2007

This there were Donainer’s participating again in the Torpedo run, and the two crazy persons ;-) with the Hummer and the nice police person, which I am sure you all can identify. Traditionally for the third time in September the Torpedo run takes place as an extraordinary lifestyle – event.

This year the participants are supposed to meet on September 20,2007 in Ahaus – where our extra special Christmas party is to be held, too. There was a camera team from Sat 1 that will accompany the run and on October 10,2007 will show report a on “Sat 1 The Auto magazine“ about this event.

The start in Ahaus – north of Düsseldorf – was chosen because it is not too far from the test driving range near Papenburg which was for Mercedes. From here they drive to Luxemburg from there to Switzerland – Roggwil by Bern, and then on to Geneva, and driving further on to Rivoli by Turin in Italy.

Finally ending in Gardone on the Garder lake, where a gala dinner was held for participants. There were exclusive events held daily making for lots of excitement, e.g. barricaded race courses, wild parties and wonderful gourmet restaurants, to name a few.

The every changing route with a mobile party driving through numerous European countries and through the mountains and passes made for a really exciting time.
