Icann-Meeting Puerto Rico - San Juan / June 2007

The aircraft brought us safely from New York to Puerto Rico.Which was a miracle when looking at the aging American Airlines aircraft.

This can not be compared to Lufthansa fleet or Emirates, or other airline that I have flew on before from Germany. Even the LTU holiday airline seems more trusting. After landing in Puerto Rico we took a Taxi to the Hilton Caribbean where the venue was to be held. When checking in you saw the weak points, the Hilton is not to be recommended; it started with the service and caring on the cleanliness of the room and the pool area is another story. The food and drinks were also not so hot.

But, this tour was worth while, because many new contacts were made and the kindling of old relationships. I think Icann does not just chose interesting locations around the world with out a reason so as to discuss dry topics in a normal hotel some where in the world. But the chose of hotels is a bit to be desired.
