A short report by Andreas Conrad: After the Sedo-event and returning to New York City was a major Domain sponsor party and where we should party on the roof of a sky scraper. The way from our hotel the Four Season on 57th street - more I do not need to say; as the idea to have rent a suite in the four seasons - It was tiring to drive in New York City by car or taxi, meaning you need extra time. Domainer were at the Torpedo run
A short report by Andreas Conrad: This years Torpedo Run took place from 22nd September 2006 to 24th September,2006 and a couple of Top-Domainer’s were there, too.. Start was the Rottach-Egern on the Tegern lake and the tour took us to Austria, Italy, and Switzerland ,and then back to Hamburg. Hello dear Domainer, We are happy that the Domainer’s Club-October fest in the Kaferzelt had a good turn-out and thank you for all the positive feed back which we received via e-mail and in the forum at www.consultdomain.de etc..
We were lucky because on September 30th was the so called Kings day. The visitors enjoying the 23°C weather and the Bavarian blue sky’s.

Domainer’s driving with the Torpedo run 2007

This there were Donainer’s participating again in the Torpedo run, and the two crazy persons ;-) with the Hummer and the nice police person, which I am sure you all can identify. Traditionally for the third time in September the Torpedo run takes place as an extraordinary lifestyle – event.

The aircraft brought us safely from New York to Puerto Rico.Which was a miracle when looking at the aging American Airlines aircraft.
This can not be compared to Lufthansa fleet or Emirates, or other airline that I have flew on before from Germany. Even the LTU holiday airline seems more trusting. After landing in Puerto Rico we took a Taxi to the Hilton Caribbean where the venue was to be held. Sedo Web master-Pro-Treffen in Mohonk/USA June 2007

A very nice way to the Sedo event really set the event off and even according to my opinion - One of the nicest location chosen for an event, where you were not to far from New York City.
Mohonk is about 100 miles or about 1.5 hours from New York City set in lovely surroundings. The hotel that was chosen for Sedo was an old and traditional hotel in very good condition and well kept.

The name of the hotel was the Hilton which is good, but the hotel lacks a charm for me and that the Hilton normally values cleanliness amongst others this was not the case in the conference room it seemed as if we were in a swimming area with water leaking from floor to floor. Firstly said: For myself an many other Domainer’s it was an event were you did not miss much if you didn’t attend. Poorly organized to say the least. The black line between the white line I should have seen coming after the Traffic-Conference in Miami which has ended was better organized.
Plus I think enough beverages belong to an event of this calibre. Another point was that you had to pay 2,000.00 US-Dollar per person to participate and there were about 20 chairs and theoretically 500 people could have attended it they wanted too.
